He spent nearly half that time at Visa, the world’s largest payment network, where he led the company’s ecommerce initiatives, including Visa’s $2 billion acquisition of merchant services provider CyberSource in 2010. Before joining Green Bits, Charlie was founder and CEO of Commerce Sync, a venture-backed provider of accounting automation services for small businesses. He has also held executive roles at Green Dot, a publicly traded provider of general purpose reloadable prepaid cards, and served as President and CEO of IP Commerce, a venture-backed provider of merchant payments services. Charlie earned a B.S.E in Industrial Engineering at Arizona State University and an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University.
