Charles d’Haussy, Head FinTech InvestHK InvestHK is the department of the Hong Kong SAR Government responsible for Foreign Direct Investment. In 2016, InvestHK has set up a Fintech team to attract top innovative Fintech companies, entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators, R&D institutions from Mainland and overseas to supporting businesses to set up and expand in Hong Kong. The Fintech team has dedicated correspondents in Hong Kong, London and Silicon Valley. They provide practical support and assistance on setting up offices, facilitating visa and banks accounts, regulators introductions, networking opportunities, guidance in government grants and funding. Mr d’Haussy has 13 years’ experience in Hong Kong private sector, having setup his company and holding a number of management roles. Before joining InvestHK, Charles was head of sales and business development with a leading Hong Kong online broker and robo-adviser. Mr d’Haussy held SFC licenses 1 & 4, studied in France at Rennes International Business school, as well as Sun Yat Sen University in Guangzhou, China. He is certified on BlockChain business strategy from Be9 London, CPT Star bronze 2016 award with the HKSI and pursue trainings on machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.

Jim Del Favero, Chief Product Officer Personal Capital Personal Capital is the first hybrid robo advisor. While at Intuit Jim worked in multiple roles over his career, from QA for desktop and online products, running voice of the customer programs for Quicken and eventually as the head of product for Intuit’s Personal Finance products. Jim launched Quicken Online in 2008 and grew it to over 1.5 million users while launching a financial institution version through Digital Insight. He takes his decades of listening to customers needs and translates that into award winning web and mobile financial services solutions that impact millions of users. When he’s not noodling on product ideas or brainstorming at a white board Jim lives in Redwood City with his wife, 2 giant dogs, and a fully stocked wine cellar.

Michael Sidgmore, Venture Partner Broadhaven Capital Partners Michael invests in early-stage FinTech companies. He is on the Board of Liveoak Technologies and Credijusto and on the Advisory Board at Trizic. Michael is also the Founder of Let’s Humanize Finance, a podcast that interviews FinTech innovators who are changing how we interact with money. Prior to Broadhaven, Michael was a pre-product employee and Senior Vice President at iCapital Network, a financial technology company that provides simplified and tech-enabled access to alternative investments at lower costs and lower minimums. Michael helped build the family office and RIA networks and helped grow the platform to over $2.1 billion of assets. Prior to iCapital Network, Michael was the first sales hire and the Director of Institutional Investments at Mosaic, a financing platform for affordable home solar loans that has surpassed $1 billion of loans originated and has received a $200 million equity investment from Warburg Pincus. Michael started his career as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs’ Principal Strategic Investments team in London, a direct investing team focused on market structure and FinTech investing. Michael is an Advisory Board Member for Village Capital’s US FinTech Program and a Special Advisor to Panorama Point Partners.

Steve Lewczyk, CRO Trizic. He is the engine behind Trizic’s sales and business development growth. Before Trizic, Steve was Co-Founder at Nirvana Solutions, a cloud-based portfolio management solution for hedge funds, fund administrators, and other wealth management platforms. Steve was also VP in Corporate Development, and a General Manager for ACD at Advent Software.

Thad Longson , COO RobustWealth. Prior to RobustWealth, Thad spent nearly 12 years at Franklin Templeton as the Senior Vice President of Multi-Asset Solutions doing strategy and business development for Franklin Templeton’s $40 billion Solutions group. Prior to Solutions he ran Corporate Strategy and M&A at Franklin Templeton. Thad also spent three years doing management consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers and three years running strategy at a large insurance company. Thad received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and received his M.B.A. from The University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management. Thad lives with his wife and three children in San Ramon, CA.

Greg Bennett, Investor Village Capital, an early stage accelerator and venture fund. Through the accelerator, Greg has supported over 200 entrepreneurs and invested in over 40 companies, who have gone on to raise more than $200M in follow-on funding. Greg focuses on early stage fintech companies across the globe, and has invested across the US, Latin America, India, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to Village Capital, Greg has worked with various angel groups, investment banks, and microfinance banks.
