With his vast experience leading companies and teams through high-growth phases, Appenzeller also served as Consulting Professor at Stanford where he led team that developed the OpenFlow standard. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and M.S. (Diploma) from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
