Edith Yeung Head 500 Startups Greater China/Partner 500 Mobile Collective Fund Edith is aventure capitalist, technology executive, and a China Internet expert. She is also the author and creator of the China Internet Report and Silicon.news. Selected by Inc’s Magazine as one of the Silicon Valley investors you must know, Edith Yeung is the head of 500 Startups Greater China and partner of 500 Mobile Collective Fund. She has invested in over 40 mobile, VR, AR, AI and machine learning startups including Hooked – #1 reading app for millennium, DayDayCook – #1 Asian Cooking media and platform, Fleksy (acquired by Pinterest), Human (acquired by Mapbox), AISense and many more. Before 500, Edith was previously a GM at Dolphin Browser, a Sequoia-backed mobile browser with over 150 million installs worldwide. Edith also worked with many Fortune 500 companies such as Siebel, AMS, AT&T Wireless and Autodesk. She has invested in many Blockchain projects including Oasis, Stellar, Solana, CoCos-BCX, Hypernet, Cred, Metadium, QuarkChain and many more.

Vanishree Rao PhD Cryptographer O(1) Labs Vanishree is passionate about cryptographic applications, especially, blockchain. Currently, she works on Cryptography at O(1)Labs, a succinct blockchain pioneer that uses zero knowledge proofs (specifically, SNARKs) to achieve succinctness. Prior to O(1)Labs, she was a Cryptographer at Intertrust Technologies which was the inventor of digital rights management back in the day and is now offering various security and governance products. Prior to that, she was a Research Scientist at Xerox PARC, where she worked on various government-funded as well as industry-need driven security projects. She obtained her PhD in Theoretical Cryptography from UCLA. She has worked on various areas in cryptography, including, zero-knowledge proofs, multi-party computation protocols, key exchange protocols and program obfuscation.

Daisy Ozim Founder Resilient Wellness, a public health startup designed to reestablish cultural medicine access for marginalized communities. As a commissioner for Alameda County Public Health Commission, she works towards health equity and decentralization of power for vulnerable communities. Her work is centered around decolonizing philanthropy, technology and public policy. Past experience in the public sector for social justice inspired her to start the Blockchain for Social Justice collective. A platform designed to promote education and access of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency for marginalized communities. Daisy has worked to support the inclusion of vulnerable communities within the emerging industry and is now working on statewide efforts to establish blockchain education for community based organizations and local government. Daisy hosts events to bring women together and educate them in order to diversify the blockchain space. She has spoken at conferences such as Tech Intersections, Youth, Tech and Health, DISCON and more.

Marta Belcher Marta is a technology and intellectual property attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP in the Silicon Valley, and a leader in the area of blockchain law. Marta represents blockchain companies and industry groups in matters related to public policy, as well as speaking about blockchain law around the world, including in European Parliament and twice in Davos during the World Economic Forum. Marta also represents clients in matters related to blockchain and intellectual property, including drafting the first blockchain-transferrable software license, advising leading blockchain companies on “open sourcing” their patent portfolios, and participating in industry-wide discussions about developing a blockchain patent pledge. Marta is an alum of Stanford Law School, U.C. Berkeley, Apple, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. She has been recognized for her work in blockchain law by the Financial Times Innovative Lawyer awards, has been named a “Huffington Post Greatest Person of the Day,” and has been featured in Forbes.

Moderator: Monette Stephens, Managing Director SF Growth Capital, has a unique combination of entrepreneurial, investing, technical, banking, sales and marketing expertise. Having worked with companies through growth stages from seed funding through acquisition, she’s been instrumental in building sales and partnership pipelines, structuring transactions and growth. While running corporate development at TokenSoft, she supported fully compliant Security Token Offerings with investors from over 170 countries. Monette co-founded and ran a FINRA registered Broker-Dealer obtaining Series 7, 24 and 63 registrations and had multiple exits through IPO or M&A. She holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
